Dear Parents/Guardians and Community Members:

I hope everyone’s summer has been relaxing and enjoyable. School staff has been preparing for the beginning of the new school year and are excited for students to return. We look forward to the partnership that is created with every family and the school. 

It has always been our goal to maintain effective communication with parents/guardians and other members of our community.  This newsletter is one method that we use. Under the present format, our newsletter is being sent to all parents/guardians of our students.  Community members who request a newsletter also receive it in the mail.  As you might recall, this newsletter was produced every other month and the bulk of the newsletter was information from teachers and staff.  Information at times lapsed and teachers had a more difficult time maintaining up-to-date information due to this type of mailing.  To better communicate with you, we will be doing a monthly one page newsletter.    This one page newsletter will continue to have school announcements and news and will be delivered monthly.   However this one page newsletter will not include information from teachers and staff.  Teacher and staff information will be found on our website, http://www.pcwolves.net and will include updated information for their specific classrooms.  We hope that this will provide more accurate information thus improving overall communication.

As we complete registration for the 2009-10 school year, you may have noticed that we are collecting email addresses from our parents/guardians.  Our plan is to utilize this often used form of technology as an additional tool for communication.  Our first mass email (communication) will take place in mid September.

This year we welcome several new and/or changes with staff members.  We are excited to have the addition of Josh Robbins; high school Social Studies, and Jennifer Straugh; 1st semester high school Science.  Staff changes include, Jodeen Bunker; Kindergarten, Lori Kempel;  Literacy Center, Katie Werhane; 1^st grade, Ann Dezell: third grade and Barb Daul; Social Worker.
