Pearl City School will be doing a Holiday collection for our Homeless Vets.

Items can be send to school with your child or delivered to Mrs. Wallace 
by Friday, December 15th

The Madison VA including the Freeport CBOC is participating in the National VA 2K  to raise awareness of Homeless Veterans  in Northwest Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.  Our Homeless vets are in need of toiletries ( for  both men and women)   socks, gloves, hats (winter or summer),  brushes , combs, soaps, tooth paste/tooth brushes, shampoo,  deodorant, sunscreen -things that those who are homeless could use.  We are asking for our communities to assist  us in supporting  our  local homeless veterans. All donations will stay within our local area.


VETERAN'S NIGHT
Lena-Winslow High School is inviting all veterans from the school districts of Lena-Winslow and Pearl City to attend the High School Boys Basketball game between the two schools on February 8, 2018 at Lena-Winslow. All veterans will be admitted to the game free of charge, and will be recognized during a short ceremony between the FS and Varsity games

The District does not tolerate acts of bullying and harassment on any prohibited basis, including acts of harassment based on disability, race and gender. The District has recently adopted revised bullying and harassment policies, which are available at http://www.pcwolves.net.    Any person who believes he or she has been subjected to harassment or a hostile environment should report the harassment or hostile environment to the District and the District will conduct a prompt and thorough investigation into the complaint. Persons who are found to have engaged in acts of harassment or other acts that create a hostile environment will be promptly disciplined in a manner consistent with the District’s anti-harassment and bullying policies and the student code of conduct. Bullying and harassment are best prevented by students, parents and District staff working together to identify and respond to such acts.
