FHN Miles and Minutes Program
FHN Miles and Minutes program is back!  Register online at www.fhn.org/milesandminutes. All rules of the competition are there, as well as information about how miles and minutes will be calculated to determine the winning school systems.  A calculator on the website automatically convert minutes of almost any type of physical activity into miles, and prizes will be awarded in miles in two categories:
1) School system with the most  average "miles" logged per participant
2) School system with the most "miles" total.
This year, look for special challenges to give your school more chances to win prize money!  Miles are normalized based on the number of students to help ensure that all schools have an equal chance to win. First prize for each category s $2,000, second prize is $1,000, and third prize is $500! Prize money will be awarded in September.  Competition begins Monday, May 28 and runs through Sunday, September 2nd! Participants must be at least 12 years of age to participate.

Bullying and Harassment

The District does not tolerate acts of bullying and harassment on any prohibited basis, including acts of harassment based on disability, race and gender. The District has recently adopted revised bullying and harassment policies, which are available at http://www.pcwolves.net.    Any person who believes he or she has been subjected to harassment or a hostile environment should report the harassment or hostile environment to the District and the District will conduct a prompt and thorough investigation into the complaint. Persons who are found to have engaged in acts of harassment or other acts that create a hostile environment will be promptly disciplined in a manner consistent with the District’s anti-harassment and bullying policies and the student code of conduct. Bullying and harassment are best prevented by students, parents and District staff working together to identify and respond to such acts.
